The Story of EPIC
As told by Jared Sampson, Co-Founder and Visionary

For over two decades, I have had the honor of building a career across the event industry, from my early days in promotions at Radio Disney, to leading marketing and events for Feld Entertainment, shaping game day experiences with the New Orleans Saints, and producing large-scale Pride festivals, conferences, awards shows, and immersive brand activations. Along the way, I discovered just how much becomes possible when teams unite around trust, creativity, lived experience, and shared purpose.

Yet I have also seen what happens when collaboration falters, bold ideas are overlooked, and talented voices, especially from historically underrepresented communities, struggle to be heard.

This is what inspired me to imagine something new. Something truly epic.

EPIC, the Event Professionals and Influencers Collective, is not just an acronym. It is a vision rooted in the very meaning of the word epic: something grand, courageous, and transformative.

It is built on a belief that:

• Events should be crafted with intention and heart.

• Everyone, from the bold influencer to the producer working tirelessly behind the scenes, deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

• True collaboration is not an afterthought, but the spark that transforms good ideas into unforgettable experiences.

 

EPIC is the creative community I always envisioned: a place where producers, creatives, storytellers, and cultural changemakers come together to design experiences that reflect the world’s true nature, dynamic, diverse, and full of possibility.  A proud part of the EPIC network is Super Star Events and Promotions, the family-friendly event company I founded to bring joyful, community-centered programming to life, inspired by my early days with Radio Disney.
